In the year 2013, there held a conference at the Sleeter Group where Brad Smith, CEO of Intuit addressed with the audience with his future plans for the company. He told the countrymen about the future of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Point of Sale. Six years passed and there are hundreds and thousands using the desktop version of QuickBooks. Though, Intuit clearly talks about featuring the world of QuickBooks online and mobile versions in the future. Now, answer to the question, “ Is QuickBooks Desktop dead in 2019? ” is clearly NO! I personally use QuickBooks Desktop software and my accounts team is using it from years. This is because I don’t want any work after the working hours.
